No Rice Challenge: Day 6

Day 6: Luffa!

Luffa, Tempeh and Potato Sambal and Poached Salted Egg

Oh my God, can you see all the redness? I didn't expect that it was going to look like this. Huhuhu...

Because of this, I just learn a new word today. Petola is Luffa in English. Sounds like loofah. Hehehe... Neelofa is NeePetola 😆

I'm gonna get stomach ache after lunch! No!!!

Current Obsession: Green Tea

I used to drink detox water, and my personal favourite is lemon. But sadly I can't consume it anymore since I have serious gastric problem couple of years ago. How serious? I've been warded for couple of times just because of gastric pain. So there, no more detox water.

My friends suggested air Nabeez, however, I prefer to eat my dates as it is. I was looking for a new way to cleanse and detox my body and I found green tea! I can drink green tea without any sweetness in it, but I just love to add tiny bit of honey, just to make it subtly sweet.

Thank you for the tumbler INTEC :D

I hope I can keep this up as a habit. I'll keep you updated with my progress, soon! :)

No Rice Challenge: Day 4

Day 4: Pumpkin Love!

Egg Tofu, Chinese Kale (KaiLan) and Pumpkin Gulai

You can say that egg tofu is my best friend now. Few days back I had Chinese Cabbage, Bok Choi, Chinese Mustard and now Kailan. Don't blame me, it's in my blood :p

Plus, we have Gulai Pumpkin in the cafeteria today! Wiwiwiwiwi~! How can you not love pumpkin? It is really sweet and tasty. If you hate pumpkin, that means you hate Cinderella too! Boo!

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! :)

No Rice Challenge: Day 3

Day 3: Eggy!

Fried Egg Sambal, Chinese Mustard and Green Beans

I had Nescafe Latte Caramel this morning to boost up my day, and for lunch, I had this. As you can see, there are tiny anchovies and fish cake slices on my veggie. I personally don't mind that much. I just eat it anyway.

Today is day three and there are slight differences. I feel slightly exhausted at the end of the day. Probably because I don't consume that much. Coffee for breakfast, this for lunch and Munchy Oat Crunch Dark Chocolate for dinner. I probably should add fruits.

All is well! :)

No Rice Challenge: Day 2

Day 2: Let's add colour to our food :)

Fried Bok Choi with Carrots, Egg Tofu and Spicy Egg Plant

When I was a kid, egg plant/ brinjal/ aubergine is not my favourite veggie,  but as I grew older, I think it was not so bad though. I choose to add a little bit of purple to my dish today.

Nyumsy! :)

No Rice Challenge: Day 1

Day 1: This is how my lunch looks like.

Chinese Cabbage, Egg Tofu and Spicy Potatoes

Some of my friend tells me that I'm actually doing Atkins. But as far as I'm concerned, you can consume meat, poultry and fish for this type of diet and there are some sugar restrictions. But, I just wanted to skip rice, that's all. I still love and NEED my morning coffee.

So far so good! :)

Final Closure

After so much empty promises
After so much fake hopes
After months of (pretentious) istikharah prayers
I wonder why I choose to believe in you

After a year of silence, and tonnes of humiliation to me and my family

Finally I have found my closure today

I wonder why I still have the guts to have some courtesy to at least wish your birthday even though everything is over. And here you are, coming to me (again) acting like a saint, acting like a victim.

As if I didn't know you're so unstable because you put me as second option. After seeing with my own eyes, I believe in your friends anyway...

I finally realized how easy it is for you to dump everything even when it's not over yet
Because you left me alone
You leave me when I need you the most
When I was at the hardest point in my life
When we have planned so much (and knowing I was the only one who really wanted this)
You just ran away

You moved on

Thank you for winning my my heart over with your sweetest word and choose the most poisonous action to break it

I used to care so much
I used to fight for this
I tried my hardest to hold on & keep you
But you didn't want this as much as I did
I didn't lose you
Let's be honest,

You LOST me

30 Days Challenge: No Rice Challenge!

If you are a huge fan of TED Talks, I bet you must’ve heard of the 30 Days Challenge. It’s pretty simple; you just have to continuously do something religiously in 30 days. It is a great way to drop a bad habit or to begin a new positive one.

So today, I decided I wanted to become a semi-vegetarian for 30 Days. Why semi? Because I can only rely on eggs for protein. I also wanted to skip rice, noodle, bread or any other source of carbs. As I’m writing this, I can feel how tough it is going to be.

Sources from Google

Sounds impossible right? Yes it is. Lol.

For those who know me, they’ll know that I don’t really know how to eat chicken, meat and fish. I’m just so bad at it. I usually eat processed food (like nuggets and burgers) and that is not healthy. Terrible isn’t it?

Plus, I’m allergic to milk. By saying allergic, I’m not referring to lactose intolerant or upset stomach, but milk causes skin breakouts and it makes my skin looks horrendous. Back then; I did not know why my skin in all of a sudden turns awful until I’ve tried the dairy free diet for 30 days.  Please refer to this site.

So there, I don’t drink milk or consume any yogurt drink. I haven’t drink yogurt drink for quite sometime now. I choose not to mix fruits and dairy products together. Some of my friends would suggest soy, but I don’t do soy. I haven't drink soy milk for couple of years now. The only type of soy that I would consume is soy sauce (kicap) and tempe. To all the girls out there, please stop consuming soymilk. It causes UTI.

Why no rice?
To be honest, I rarely eat rice if I’m in Shah Alam. I prefer to indulge if I go back home and eat as much carbs as I want. This may sound absurd, but I only consume basmati rice for diabetics. A quick disclaimer, I’m not diabetics; it’s just that my family eats this for the sake of my parents. The basmati rice is slightly tasteless compared to the normal rice.

*My parents are not getting any younger, so we have to support them and follow their diet as well.

Wish me luck!

Yeay! Saya menjerit-jerit gembira bila dapat masuk CoE. Ya, saya memang begini.

CoE sangat cantik tebabow.

Macam Lego...

Haih…

Mr. Azlan: Are you sure these are Proton cars?
Me: No, but I’m pretty sure that’s how my soul looks like.

Terima kasih Kak Yanti!

Senyum bangga sambil pegang bib :D

Sebelum mula lari, serius mengantuk tahap gaban

SCKLM 2016 sangat meriah.

Pose geget medal memang wajib

Memang idola saya :x

Selepas marathon, sesi makan di Boat Noodle Sunway Putra Mall

SCKLM memang seronok, harap jumpa lagi tahun hadapan! Wiwiwiwi~!
